Our stay at Mseni Beach Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, neat, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The air conditioning was a great addition, especially in the heat of Sodwana, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The restaurant exceeded expectations with its delicious food, offering a great selection of meals that were fresh and well-prepared.

The staff at Mseni were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist and making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

One of the highlights was the private beach, which felt exclusive and serene—perfect for unwinding away from crowds. Additionally, the lodge's proximity to town was convenient, allowing easy access to shops and activities while still maintaining a peaceful and secluded ambiance.

Mseni is amazing, I stayed for over a week as I did my padi open water and open water advanced course at Coral Divers next door. The chalet was lovely, very happy with the good airconditioning as it was very humid. It had everything I needed. The restaurant really is beautiful, such a great location with a view over the forets and ocean. Loved the food, a lot to choose from and some great cocktaila as well. Why I would come back? All the staff was always very helpful and sweet!

Beautiful retreat, gorgeous forest and ocean, plus monkeys!
We had a great time at Mseni! We went there to dive Sodwana Bay with Amoray Divers. (If you are coming to Sodwana to dive, we would recommend this route. The integration between Amoray and Mseni made our lives so easy). The lodge is really out there-- in the middle of a forest by the beach with not much else around, which was so awesome! Each room is an individual little cabin, so it really feels like a nice retreat in nature. We saw a bunch of red duikers and monkeys around the property, they were so cute! The rooms are simple but up to date, and very comfortable. I really appreciated the housekeeping here-- they keep the cabin and porch areas super clean and prevent things becoming a big sandy mess. It was also great to have the restaurant since there's not much else around to eat. The food there was OK (not bad, but nothing exciting), but the view is absolutely gorgeous and it's so nice to sit there looking out over the forest and ocean. Great experience
Neet room. Very quiet and bush experience. Has air-conditioning. Restaurant has good food. Staff were very friendly .It is a short walk to the beach. Hidden Gem
Absolutely wonderful , tranquil, little gem hidden away with the feeling of relaxation that could rarely be beaten. Amazing lodge in the nature
Beautiful little lodge located in the mittle of nature, very close to a beautiful beach to take a walk for hours in the sand. Amazing breakfast and dinner options with the most amazing view. Lodge was very clean, comfortable and we felt home from the very beginning. Last but not least very helpful, friendly and nice staff. A Hidden Gem
Mseni Beach Lodge is a hidden gem along South Africa's Coast. We stayed there for a week while doing some diving and just relaxing. The cabins are clean and neat and are spaced in such a way that offers privacy from the other cabins yet easy access to all the facilities. The restaurant offers fantastic views and an expansive menu and the pool is a great place to kick up your feet. However, the true gem is the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend for divers and non divers alike!
My partner loves to dive, I don't - and this place was perfect for us both! He was right next door to the best diving place, and I spent the days by the pool or the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. It was my partners Birthday and they went above and beyond by serving a romantic dinner on the deck of our room. The restaurant is stunning - views over the ocean during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is also really good! The rooms are far apart from each other, the aircon works amazingly well, it was super clean and neat and lovely to use. Big as well! Fresh air on Mseni Beach
The cabins are really nice. Your own bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. Bed is good. You can walk to the beach but you can't swim there. Then you should be a lot further is recommended. Also not going out alone outside the private beach of Mseni is advised. There is a swimming pool. The staff is really super nice and always want to be of service. The food in the restaurant is perfect. Breakfast is inclusive and especially breakfast with spinach and the poached eggs with lemon marinated mushrooms is highly recommended. If you have a ski jet or a boat this is a must because you can get your boat into the water via mooring spots. Plenty to do for surfers too. There are also a lot of camping spots that are very secluded and then you are really away from the world. If you don't have all that with you, you can actually only walk or sunbathe at the beach or pool. We walked a lot and at the same time cleaned up plastic from the beach. Wonderful two nights at Mseni
The upscale cabins are nicely laid out on the property to ensure privacy but yet close enough to the restaurant. The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. The staff go out of their way to assist guests in making sure their stay is enjoyable. Management even drove us to the beach and to one of our offsite excursions since we didn't have a car. Good experience & great breakfast options
Really enjoyed the stay here. Everything was quite neat, the breakfast options were great. It was quite peaceful and you can access the beach easily. Just wish that there was an area where you could braai. Coral Divers is a short drive away for the diving activities.
