Invoicing
- The accommodation rates exclude the KZN Wildlife park fee per person per night. However, the fees are reflected on your invoice and paid to Mseni Beach Lodge for your convenience.
- Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
- A single supplement charge is applicable during High Season. This will be charged at 50% of the self-catered accommodation rate.
- Please ensure your proforma invoice details (arrival and departure dates, number of persons etc.) are correct to avoid problems on arrival.
The iSimangaliso Gate Entrance & KZN Wildlife Sodwana Bay National Park Fees
The iSimangaliso Wetlands Park Gate Entrance fee is payable at the first gate leading to the Sodwana Bay National Park.
The gate entrance fee for 2024 is made up as follows: The once-off fees are currently R30 per adult and R20 per child plus a R10 overnight fee per person per night, so a total of R40 per adult and R30 per child. Vehicle charges are R35 per vehicle holding 1-5 persons (e.g. 4 door car) – charges increase for larger capacity vehicles.
Gates are open 24 hours a day. This allows access in and out of the park. PLEASE NOTE that iSimangaliso now have card facilities for payment of these fees on arrival. NB: Please be careful with the permit you receive on entry as iSimangaliso charge a penalty of R500 for lost permits.
At the 2nd boom gate, fill out a Mseni Beach Lodge form. This indicates that you will be staying in our lodge. The KZN Wildlife fees (R100 pp/ per night in Low Season), will be included on your invoice (R130 pp/ per night in Mid & High Season and over special events). For your convenience, we can accept this payment on behalf of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife on your booking invoice.
When you arrive, please be sure to bring the form provided by the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife gate, to our receptionist who will issue your gate exit pass. Please note that 2024 prices are subject to change.
Children
Children aged 3 and under are free of charge.
Children aged between 4 and 12 years of age will be charged 50% the adult rate for KZN Wildlife fees and a reduced rate for B&B accommodation.
High Season
- A minimum of 3 nights is required to make a booking in High Season.
- Balance of payment is required 14 days prior to arrival. If we have not received your full payment, we will assume that you no longer require the booking, and our system will therefore automatically cancel the booking.
- NB: Please ensure that you receive confirmation of your booking by email, prior to the release date.
